Dev Diary Entry, 26th November 2019
Continuing the job search this week. It takes up most of my precious spare time at night so there’s not much time for blogging at the moment.
- I took a skills quiz on LinkedIn for CSS and got the 70% required to pass: I know a multiple choice quiz doesn’t prove your technical ability but it was a nice confidence boost nonetheless.
- A Business Case for Dropping Internet Explorer - a couple of really interesting angles, including that it discourages developer innovation and adoption of new tech by being restrained by older browsers.
- How to remove condescending language from documentation - introduces the alex linter that points out language like ‘easily’ or ‘just’, definitely one to add to my blog workflow.
